ESD For Operators

Course Length: 2-4 hours

This class introduces basic electrostatic discharge (ESD) principles to help minimize the effects of mishandling ESD sensitive components.  Participants learn how static electricity is generated, the damage caused by ESD, how to use protective equipment and items, special packaging requirements, and various types of labeling.
