Introduction to Design of Experiments

Course Length: 16 hours

The Introduction to Design of Experiments Course provides participants with the basic skills and knowledge they will need to perform design, application, and analysis of experimental designs.  This course addresses statistical methods along with the classical and Taguchi philosophies for setting up experiments for upstream building of quality into products and processes.

The presentation includes technical concepts, classroom discussion, and hands-on workshops. Teams of participants will apply the concepts learned in the process of designing and analyzing experiments to optimize a simple mechanical device (classroom catapult).
