Anger Management ProgramCourse
Length: 4 hours (Typical)
Instructional Setting: Classroom The goal of the Anger Management Program is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to identify what triggers anger in individuals, how to control anger and how to diffuse anger in others. At the completion of this class, participants will:
Explain the Origins of Anger:
Self-assess the conditions which will activate the anger response:
Explain the typical pattern of responses to threatening situations.
Describe the actions to take to control the anger response:
Describe and demonstrate the techniques to diffuse anger in others.
The program will include individual assessments and small group activities during which participants will discuss their experiences and reactions. At the completion of the class, each participant will be asked to sign a statement to make one change about how they will control their anger in the future.
